File 2003.11: Wolfe v. Ford
Case Type: Vehicle Frame Failure
Description:
A case involving the severe failure of a vehicle frame during a rear-end collision. The collapse forced the rear seat, which held a child, to impact the front seat as it retracted backwards. The collision caused severe injury to the child.
Visualizations Produced:
Using Digital Photogrammetry, Fearless Eye constructed the exemplar vehicle and the accident vehicle's interior and exterior details. Animations were then created showing the structural failure, the biomechanics of all the occupants and the injury of the child.
