Case Type: House Fire / Appliance Failure

Description:
A kitchen fire spread throughout a rural home and it was completely destroyed resulting in a fatality. Overheating of elements inside a kitchen appliance and subsequent ignition were at issue in the case. No blueprints were available for the home.

Phase 1, Pre-Visualization, Measurement:
Fearless Eye collected survey maps and diagrams produced from the foundation remains of the home. Through the use of digital photogrammetry, numerous indoor and outdoor photographs were aligned with foundation reference and a 3D replica of the home was built with testimony from engineering and fire science experts, firefighters and the homeowners confirming accuracy.

Phase 2, Visualizations Produced:
1. 3D animation illustrating the layout of the home.
2. Animation of fire allegedly starting at dishwasher and spreading throughout home.
3. Visualization and measurement of appliances' internal timing parts to illustrate that it was in operation at the time of the fire.
