The right rear tire on a Mazda MPV failed causing an accident. The vehicle had to new rear Michelin tires, but one failed at 60,000 miles when it should have lasted to at least 99,000 miles.
Visualizations Produced:
A presentation board was produced illustrating tread wear, tread depth and the amount of useful tire left when the blowout occurred. Emphasizing that there was no reason for the tire to have blown out so soon, unless there was a malfunction.
