Description:
A rock quarry from the early 1940's that was permitted to subsequently be used as a landfill, had it's permit revoked in the 1960's and was only able to continue quarrying, but no long permitted to landfill. The result of the revoked permit was loss of millions of projected landfill income.

Visualizations Produced:
Contour data from the originally permitted landfill area was obtained and the terrain was created in 3D. Areas of the land were then cut out and raised to show the different sections of progression and the lost volume due to the revoked permit.
